Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Thank you for your submission.

I agree with your study limitations. Please add that you did not include a severity index assessment (APACHE II, SOFA) which limits your ability to address mortality. Lin 299 mentions variability in severity, but reader do not know how severe the illnesses are in your patient population.

I also do not agree with your regression model for mortality. please provide a rationale for excluding "removing intravital devices" from your model.

As a whole, you could have created an overall composite endpoint for "compliance with action bundle" and included other Table 1A variables into your regression model to identify impact of your action bundle.

Well done overall.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

In this study, Tokano et al. assessed the impact of antifungal stewardship intervention programs on patients out from candidemia in Japan. Overall, the study is well done. The subject matter is topical and interesting as literature on antifungal stewardship and its influence on performance and clinical outcome measures is scarce. Before I endorse this publication, I would like to see the following points addressed:

1. All scientific names should be written in italics.

2. Ensure  that there is spacing between the genus and species names in Table 1B.

3. The resolution of Figure 1 should be improved. The drug names and the legends to the figure are so blurry. I would recommend that the authors use appropriate color schemes to ensure better visualization and contrast.

4. Figure 2. Image resolution should be improved.
