Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Mullite/PU nanocomposites have been prepared by double waste co-recycling method.  I think that the manuscript would be publishable in Sustainability after the following minor revisins:

a) In Fig. 2, "Transmitance" and "Wavbnumber" must be carefully corrected.

b) In Table 1, why is the thermal conductivity at the mullite whisker content of 0.15% the lowest?  More discussions are required.

c) In Fig. 6, "The weight loss" must be carefully corrected to "Weight" or "Mass".

d) 4) More detailed discussion about the results shown in Figs. 2, 5, and 6 is required. It seems that some closely related references just like those suggested below are also needed to be cited to support the discussion regarding TG/IR results. Currently, there is no supporting reference in this section.

Reviewer 2 Report

Please, verify the space between words through the text.

Is the section 2.2. based on some reference? How these procedures were found?

Section 3.2 and through the text: Please verify "-1" to be superscript

Some comparison with previous studies should be included to improve the discussion (a Table with results of this work versus another found in literature).

The conclusion section should bring some words about possible applications for the obtained materials.
