Reviewer 2 Report

  1. The manuscript contains several grammatical and minor errors that need to be addressed. For example, in line 160, there should not be a space after "where". Also, the usage of "Multiagent" and "Multi-agent" is inconsistent throughout the paper. I would recommend a thorough proofreading and language editing to correct these errors.

  2. I suggest revising the title to more accurately reflect the content of the paper. It could be something like "A Simulation-Based Study on..." or "A Study on Multi-agent Simulation of...". The current title may potentially cause confusion with agents in reinforcement learning. Along the same line, it would be beneficial for the paper to discuss and clearly differentiate between the agents used in this study and those in reinforcement learning. You might find it useful to reference and discuss the following papers in this context: 'Connected autonomous vehicles for improving mixed traffic efficiency in unsignalized intersections with deep reinforcement learning' and 'Deep dispatching: A deep reinforcement learning approach for vehicle dispatching on online ride-hailing platform'.

Dear Authors,

Please answer the following concerns.

  1. Explain how the distributed and cooperative algorithm eliminates the need for a central management unit, central price coordinator, or leader.
  2. Explain in detail how the local peer-to-peer communications among the multi-agents determine the best price and order quantity.
  3. Discuss the scalability of the system nodes.
  4. The discussion on the results must be improved.
  5. Improve the quality of the figures.
  6. Rewrite the abstract and conclusion.

The English language is acceptable. However, check for Minor editing of the English language required.
