Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The introduction is too general and it should describe the recent research relevant to the topic of the article.

The methodology should be described in a text. It was written in a table in Spanish.

Some texts about climate are not necessary as well as other descriptions of the history of agriculture (especially BC) and about types of fruits and vegetables. Instead of these paragraphs, the recent research should be elaborated and discussed. A research gap should be found.

At the same time, Discussion is missing as well as pro-and-cons argumentation. The conclusion is too general and modest.

There are a lot of texts on Spanish - Figure 2 , Figure 3 (text in Figure), Figure 4 (legend), Table 2 is not in English, the text of 3.2.

Comments on the Quality of English Language

There are texts in Spanish. English should be improved.

Author Response

The introduction is too general and it should describe the recent research relevant to the topic of the article.

In lines 131–136, the impact of accessing foreign markets on farmers wishing to export is mentioned. By adopting new agricultural practices, it positively affects the biological diversity, which represents not only sustainability but also the economic growth of a country.

The methodology should be described in a text. It was written in a table in Spanish.

The methodology outline was updated in English. Additionally, it is described in the paragraph between lines 387–393.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

1. The content of the article does not fully correspond to its title. The economic and social development of the region should be assessed by some indicators and criteria. It is not clear exactly what indicators the authors evaluate their proposals. The author's proposed design of the building, the location of the plots, the zoning scheme of the project (Figure 17), the elements of clean energy (Figure 23) do not represent elements of an agro-industrial complex to promote the economic and social development of the region.

2. The scheme of the study is not presented in English (Figure 11) and it is difficult to read it.

3. The authors provide statistical material (Figure 6), but for some reason they do not analyze it themselves, but refer to scientific literature.

4. Figure 17, Figure 20, Figure 21, Figure 22 represent the authors' proposals for the project. However, these proposals are not scientifically substantiated. They are technical schemes, but without technical scientific justification.

I think that the articles should be substantially improved.

In lines 162-164, a study indicates that Huaraz province, with 169,477 inhabitants, should be prioritized for economic initiatives, while actions against poverty and social inclusion should focus on Huaylas, which has a poverty rate of 18.8%. Additionally, in lines 151-152, it is stated that the commercial development of Ancash is supported by its agro-export potential and strategic location in the north of the country. Therefore, the location and nature of the project are justified as an economic driver for the region, facilitating economic exchange activities. Furthermore, by accommodating agricultural producers currently engaged in informal sales in Huaraz, the project provides various options to formalize their work through industrialization, a collection center, or sales spaces, along with enhanced educational opportunities such as training and research spaces. The project's design contribution with elements of clean energy promotes environmental impact reduction and preserves existing biological biodiversity.

  1. The scheme of the study is not presented in English (Figure 11) and it is difficult to read it.

Observation has been addressed. The methodological outline has been updated.

  1. The authors provide statistical material (Figure 6), but for some reason they do not analyze it themselves but refer to scientific literature.

Observation has been lifted. The incorrectly placed citation has been removed.

  1. Figure 17, Figure 20, Figure 21, and Figure 22 represent the authors' proposals for the project. However, these proposals are not scientifically substantiated. They are technical schemes but without technical scientific justification.

The schemes presented are based on scientific foundations and applied projects.

I think that the articles should be substantially improved.

Paragraphs and conclusions have been added, providing more explanations for better understanding.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Dear Editor

After detailed readings in the manuscript entitled: “Agroindustrial Complex to Promote the Economic and Social Development of Agricultural Producers of the Callejón de Huaylas, Ancash, Peru 2023” to propose an architectural project for an agro-industrial complex to promote the socio-economic development of agricultural producers in Callejón de Huaylas, despite agriculture not being a stable market for the development of small producers and exporters, where it stands out in the manuscript that agro-industrial allows an improvement in the quality of life in the agricultural sector. I suggest accepting the manuscript with minor corrections:

1 - Note the existence of keywords equal to the title, this should be reviewed, the idea is to include broader terms.

2-The study's global importance should be better included at the end of the introduction.

3 - Improve the resolution of Figure 4. Out of focus.

4-The maps in Figures 1, 5, 12, and 14 require geographic parameters such as north and scale.

5 - Figures 8, 9 and 10 have images of people, I suggest covering them with stripes to preserve their identities, so that there are no future problems with using personal images.

6 - The methodology is well-founded. The authors did a good job. Congratulations.

7 - The results are precise and correctly discussed.

8 - The conclusion is well-founded, and the quality of the English used in the text is clear and understandable. Congratulations.
