Comments and Suggestions for Authors

What is the main question of the study? The aim of this article is to determine the dynamic perception of the transition to green energy by Turkish society. In the article, the authors answer the following questions: what is the reaction of society to the transition to green energy, whether the developed research tool is adequate to the changing perception of the transition to green energy over time.

Is it relevant and interesting? The issue raised, regarding the transition to green energy in the energy mix of individual countries, is very timely and very interesting.

Is the text original? The text is original, based on the latest literature on the subject.

Is the article well written? The article is written correctly.

Is the article clear and easy to read? The article is easy to read.

Are the conclusions consistent with the evidence and arguments? There is no Conclusions chapter, and the conclusions are shown in the Discussion. They should be presented in a new chapter and the justification for conducting this type of research on public opinion should be shown.

Do the conclusions relate to the main question asked? As noted earlier.

The article should:

1. The introduction should better highlight the need to switch to green energy not only in Turkey but also in other parts of Europe and the world.

2. Part 2 is too extensive, only aspects related to the title, i.e. materials and methods, should be left in it, and the remaining descriptions should possibly be moved to the introduction or discussion.

3. In the discussion, the results of the analyzes should be compared with the results of research by other authors from a global perspective. Some of the discussions are rather the results of ongoing research and should be moved to the new Results chapter.

4. A Results and Conclusions section should be created and recommendations resulting from these results should be presented.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This study is to determine the Turkish society's dynamic perception of the transition to green energy over time and to conduct a comprehensive analysis using NLP. Overall, the presentation and results are very clearly and in excellent explanations. I recommend publish with minor revision.

Here some minor issues are addressed:

1.     It would be helpful for readers to understand the abstract better if the authors can add a brief explanation of “green energy” in the abstract.

2.     Figure 4, figure 6, and figure 7 are out of shape, please adjust.

3.     Please add a “conclusion” section at the end.

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The authors of this publication attempted to identify the problems that Turkish society faces in its transition to green energy through sentiment analysis. I have some suggestions to increase the quality of the paper.

1.      Rewrite the abstract to highlight the work's significance, field-related concerns, research gaps, methodologies used, and major findings. Numerical values for findings should be included.

2.      Increase the text size in Figures.

3.      The society's sentiment is not directly tied to green energy. The study should concentrate on green energy transition. Do not focus on the general statement, which has nothing to do with the green energy transition.

4.      In the introduction, define green energy and its resources.

5.      How does societal sentiment impact green energy?

6.      How to influence the sentiment of the society?

7.      How many factors can influence the sentiments?

8.      Provide a reference for specific wording, eg. “dirty text”. It should be defined in the Introduction.
