General Comments

 

It is of great significance to produce fog products without gaps, but it is recommended that reliability such as accuracy of information should be resolved first before analysis. Since analysis with inaccurate data could contain many errors, it is recommended that accuracy analysis should be performed for both GVD and GKFP fog data analysis and then statistics of analysis should be calculated through it.

 

The authors mentioned the accuracy of GVD and GKFP in the "Discussion" session, but I believe that this discussion should be reflected in the analyzed results through the manuscript, either quantitatively or qualitatively.

 

Minor Comments

 

85-86 : authors indicated that 23 cases are presented in Table2 "Table 2. Summary of gridded fog product retrieved from the blending method developed in this Study", but 23 fog cases are not found in the Table.  Please add an explanation of which cases and under what conditions they were selected. Required for explanation after Figure 7.

 

102: The pink star, square, and triangle represent the Cheongyang, Gunsan, and Incheon regions, respectively. -->  The pink star, square, and triangle represent the Incheon regions, Cheongyang, and Gunsan, respectively.

 

311-312: Authors mentioned that the quality of the both fog data (GVD and GKFP) is assumed to be reliable. But satellite data has many disadvatages, such as land-ocean discontinuities and decreased accuracy during night-to-day changes, as described later. And thus lots of uncertainties are contained in the GKFP and possibly HRBFD. It is needed to provide the resason why authors assume the quality of GVD and GKFP reliable.
