Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

It is very important and interesting review concerning AML risk stratification. The authors describe the risk factors in a very thorough and critical manner. They start from patient-related factors, through known and newly described cytogenetic and molecular factors, and the assessment of response to treatment based on the MRD. The paper is very well written and organized. The review seems to be off great value.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for their appreciaton of our work

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a very comprehensive review of risk stratification of adult AML.   Tables help to summarize considerations as well as provide overview of when qpCR vs. flow etc can be helpful. Their summary of emerging integrative efforts are very interesting.  I have little critique to add as it is such a well summarized approach to risk stratification  considerations.

In reference to Peds risk stratification and acknowledgement that not included in this paper, would add Elgarten and Aplenc from 2019- that's a contemporary comprehensive peds review.

Author Response

We thank the reviewer for their positive report on our work. As suggested, we integrated in the revised version of our manuscript the important review they mentioned
