Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This manuscript shows interesting theoretical analysis on the effects of Nd3+ concentration in CYGA crystals. However, there is no infromation on the single crystal samples. Please add information about the single crystal growing procedures, and characteristics of the grown single crystal samples (photographes etc.).

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Having thoroughly reviewed this research, I believe it may be suitable for publication once the authors have addressed the comments provided below:

1. The abstract is not clear and is not support the conclusion.

2. check the citation for example [2~5] should be [2-5].

3.In particular, it is important to maintain homogeneity in the usage of "rare earth" or "rare-earth" (RE). Please ensure that the acronym is introduced the first time the term is used.

4.The final paragraph of the introduction should provide readers with a clear understanding of the novelty of your work. Additionally, the optimization method is not adequately explained and requires improvement in its presentation.

5. The authors should clarify the accuracy of this method, especially considering they utilized only one doping concentration for the crystal.

6. All equations should be explained more clear, I cannot find where you mentioned equ. 8 and 9

7. The authors need to explain why in the plot Figure 1. they used Ln (intensity) instead of intensity or counts?

8. Did you use all of the equations? if not merge them or just bring the standard or references.

9. Figures 1 and 2 are more like results, I think it's better to move them to the results section.

10. make the conclusion separate like 5 bullets, now its difficult for readers.

11. increase the quality of all figures.
