It can be inferred that this paper will clarify the development process and its factors from the title of introduction of one variety to become a major industry in the local region, but the scientific basis is not clearly shown as far as the contents are concerned, and it is necessary to rewrite the paper completely. Unlike reports, treatises require analysis logic, methods and data, data-based analysis, conclusions drawn from analysis results, and discussions based on them. I think the same is true for qualitative analysis. I can't find the analysis using the data shown in Table 1 of the main text, and the writing style is quite similar to a report.

Detail,

1. For introduction, this study seeks to discuss a pilot case from the introduction of new varieties to grow into major industries in the local region. Indeed, in the cases of Africa, they contribute to improving nutrition and farmers' income, but I think there are many such studies in China, too. However, since there is no review on that, the originality of this paper is not clarified. You need to explain why this study is necessary and what discoveries have been made.

 

2. Line51: “2% of the country ’s grain planting area”; Here, you should show the data source and year of 2%; When you show some data in the article, please indicate the data source.

3. Line 57: Abruptly the word of kidney bean came out; why did you choose this bean as your research target?

4. Line 59: It shows the main cultivation area of the kidney bean, but isn't it different from the characteristics of the bean cultivation area in Line 52? It is necessary to match the logic before and after.

Please write down the content of the support (Line173 “strong support”), such as subsidies, planting area expansion, etc.; If it is not concrete and just spiritual, it is better to delete it.

10. Line180-181 “Compared with other staple crops, the kidney bean provided farmers with most profits.” Please list the staple crops and kidney bean profits in a table.

11. Please provide the rationale for Line 230-232.

12. Table 2: Pinjinyun No. 3 and Pinjinyu No. 4 (spelling mistake? is it the same as No.3's name?) The cultivation area is considerably smaller than the British red kidney bean. Also, if you have specific numbers for higher protein concentration and cement shapes, please indicate them.

13. Line 239: the part of 3.2.2. Before that, please organize the data related to the purpose of this article, such as the situation of varieties adopted by farmers, the characteristics of varieties, the reasons for adopting varieties, and the connection with industry, and explain with numbers. Table 3 only shows the various investment projects' names and amounts, so we don't know how much the support is in the study area. We couldn't know before and after these were implemented or how these projects have contributed to farmers' variety adoption and the Kidney bean industry.

If no investment project exists, farmers should also consider whether to use the recommended varieties.

It is natural for research institutes and universities to develop varieties, and the question is whether or not the cultivated varieties have been adopted by farmers. Since you interviewed the farmers, why don't you show the adoption status of the varieties?

14. As same as the part of “3.2.3”, what does this treatise mean, do you want to emphasize the role of local governments, or do you want to emphasize the importance of breeding in research institutes?

Farmers are an important factor in production, and the role of farmers cannot be seen in the treatise. The introduction of varieties should be centered on farmers; the output expansion depends on whether they are individual farmers or a community of farmers. When it comes to distribution processing, companies and others will be added. Of course, the role of the local government will be necessary when it grows into the region's primary industry. There is a lack of adoption analyses of farmers' varieties in the paper.

I can't see the overall flow, so please rewrite it as a scientific paper. First, you should clarify the paper’s purpose and reconsider the overall composition’s logic and science.
