The journal retracts the article “The Effects of Soundscapes in Relieving Stress in an Urban Park” [1], cited above.
Following publication, an author alerted the Editorial Office to four tables that were previously published. Tables 2–5 in paper [1] are duplications of Figures 2–5 in published paper [2]. In addition, there is significant overlap with a previous publication under different authorship [3]. The overlap included six paragraphs [1].
Adhering to our Complaints Procedure, an investigation was conducted that confirmed the extensive overlap, and the article has therefore been retracted. The Editor-in-Chief has checked the case and has approved the retraction. The decision to retract has been made in agreement with the authors of the paper [1]. The authors apologize to the readers of Land for any inconvenience caused.
