I reviewed the manuscript entitled, An international library for land cover legends: the Land Cover Legend Registry. The manuscript is well written with appropriate scientific literature. The introduction explains the need of conducting this study. Methodology is appropriate with literature citation. Presentation of research findings is according to standards; however, discussion should be improved before being accepted for publication.

The objectives of this study were not clear. Please revise it.
