I am writing to commend you on your exceptional work presented in the manuscript "Integrated flood impact and vulnerability assessment using Multi-sensor Earth Observation mission with the perspective of an operational service in Lombardy, Italy". Your approach to enhancing disaster risk management through efficient mapping and valuable geoinformation is impressive and highly relevant.

Your manuscript significantly contributes to the field, particularly in emergency management and the development of early warning systems. The integration of NOCTUA-based studies and IRIDE operational services is noteworthy, offering comprehensive insights into various environmental and infrastructural aspects. I appreciate your manuscript's potential impact on stakeholders, government officials, and the scientific community.

However, before publication, I recommend adding specific statistics or results in the abstract to provide a clearer overview of your study's effectiveness and impact. Your work is an excellent addition to the field, and this minor enhancement will make it even more valuable to its readers.

I look forward to seeing your work published.

The paper titled ~Integrated flood impact and vulnerability assessment using 2

Multi-sensor Earth Observation mission with the perspective of 3

an operational service in Lombardy, Italy~ applies an innovative method on flood impact assessment by integrating social and physical parameters

In the introduction part, I suggest to add concrete aspects regarding the novelty of the study in relation to the existing literature.

All the figures in the text must be replaced with others of superior quality, nothing is understood.

Table 1 is redundant.

Please briefly include a section which addresses the limitations of your work.

Reorganize the article by placing the sub-chapter on the study area before the methodology

Considering social vulnerability, please specify which indicators/parameters were taken into account in the analysis of social vulnerability? If the degree of vulnerability was taken into account, how was it included in the AHP matrix?
