Comments and Suggestions for Authors

In the manuscript, the authors applied the IntErO algorithm based on the EPM model assessed the sediment production under Moroccan environmental conditions. In my view, the author did not propose any new findings or ideas, this article is more like an engineering report. It does not reach the level of publication in the journal of LAND.

1.The manuscript should emphasize the innovation of their own research and academic contributions in the introduction. 2.The coordinates of the map in the article are not clear, and the resolution of the map is too low. 3.Abbreviations in the text need to be explained clearly, especially in abstract and introduction. 4.The manuscript lacks a discussion of the result. Tanger Med Port: it is not clear the sense of the paper in this field. You cite 3 times in the abstract, 1 in the key words 1 in a caption and 1 in the line 411. It seems that you wrote an abstract before the paper, or something like that.

You make a correct description of the method to analysis the erosion of the basin, ending in the dam; at that point which is the relation with the Tanger Med port?

The paper is interesting and it is well developed, talking about LULC of the basin and wathever consequent to the dam.

78-79  maybe a citation

171-172 and 174-175 you can number estimates and predicts

185      anything is not clear

565 – 566 number results

Comments and Suggestions for Authors

Authors evaluated the erosion and outflow intensity in the Rif region under different LULC scenarios, generally, this manuscript had good novelty. Minor suggestions are as follows:

Suggest authors divided the results and discussions parts as separate part, especially, discussion is an important part of one paper, so authors should consider the discussion as the single part. In addition, the dpi of each figure should improve.
