Comments and Suggestions for Authors

This is a very well organized paper. The authors provide knowledge about land use change in Egypt. But I still suggest that the authors revise this article.

1. The introduction of the article is too weak. The authors describe the background of the study, but do not provide a review of existing research results.

2. Because there is no review of research results, the authors do not propose a knowledge gap. I suggest authors emphasize original contributions.

3. I suggest that authors provide the accuracy of remote sensing, such as kappa coefficient.

4. Part 3.3 of the article is the authors' speculation and is not directly supported by data. Figure 9 is very good. But authors should come up with the framework and prove it with data.

5. In general, the depth of analysis in this article is not enough.
