Reviewer 2 Report
Your paper is well written to report the first systemic review of diagnosing phosphaturic mesenchymal tumors (PMT) causing osteomalacia by using SSTR PET/CT and meta-analysis. The following is minor questions to improve your paper.
How can we differentiate PMT from granuloma or neuroendocrine tumor on SSTR PET/CT? Why did MRI miss PMT lesions? Please illustrate true and false positive cases of SSTR PET/CT, and MRIAuthor Response
According to the Reviewer's suggestions we have added some comments about false positive and false negative findings of SSTR-PET/CT and MRI in the discussion of the revised manuscript.
As this is a meta-analysis we have choosen to not present illustrative cases of TIO. The selected figures are focused on the statistical analysis.
