Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

This paper is systematic review and meta-analysis that evaluates the efficacy of radiofrequency on the chronic musculoskeletal pain. It deserves attention and is worthy of publication in this journal.

Minor points as below:

The title doesn't fit the content, better to fix it.

I wonder about the effect of radiofrequency on the muscles.

A little more discussion should be given to the detailed mechanisms that help relieve pain and improve function.

Reviewer 2 Report

This is a great systematic review & meta-analysis about the use of radiofrequency in the management of MSK pain.

I want to congratulate you since this work is well conducted and well written.

Only some minor suggestions for you:

  • line 22: albeit --> even if
  • line 24: delete "from a rehabilitative point of view"
  • line 72-74: please rephrase
  • pay attention to Figure quality, since it seems low to me
  • line 231: please consider the following reference about MSK pain rehabilitation (https://www.mdpi.com/2411-5142/6/3/75)
  • line 328: delete "taken together"
