Improvements in Jump Height, Speed, and Quality of Life through an 8-Week Strength Program in Male Adolescents Soccer Players
Highlights
- We determined that an 8-week strength program focused on the lower body improves the physical performance of young football players.
- We proposed a methodology of specific strength training twice a week complemented with regular football training.
- They improve jump height, short distance speed, and general quality of life and reduce body fat in the upper body and trunk.
- They contribute to the field of physical training by enhancing sports performance and the overall development of youth soccer players.
