Cover Story: Although the appearance of these injuries has a multifactorial origin, poor management of the neuromuscular load during the microcycle is presented as one of the main reasons that cause this injury. There are multiple exercises that can be carried out before, during and after training, which contribute to increasing this neuromuscular load. In this article, we will learn how the elite European soccer teams incorporate these exercises throughout a regular work week. This will provide the reader with an interesting reference to use in order to manage the load in their work context. View this paper
