Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The work is devoted to the problem of the parallel algorithm of mesh generation using graphic processing unit. It is optimized based on traditional ray casting method. I think the paper is valuable, well written and can be interesting for the readers of the journal. I recommend it for publication in the present form.

Author Response

We thank the Reviewer for the comments.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper is novel and ready to be published in its current shape.

Author Response

We thank the Reviewer for the comments. We have made moderate English changes carefully. We have corrected some grammatical errors, standardized the use of some vocabulary.

Reviewer 3 Report

Manuscript presents study of three-dimensional Cartesian mesh generation
algorithm based on the GPU parallel ray casting method.

Very interesting article with few minor comments:

which program did you use for study? is source code available? line 218/219 - figure 7c is maybe 8c? please check figure numberation after fig 7 & 8...226 arucraft model is fig9 check references by journal instrcutions.

Author Response

We thank the Reviewer for the comments. All the code is developed by ourselves. Because of some external factors such as regulations in institute, we can’t release the code and models in current stage. We will do that in the future.

Figure numbers 8-14 in the text have been corrected.

Every reference has been checked and corrected with the journal form.
