Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1) In line 145 "conditionof" should be written separately "condition of"
2) In line 179 T should be written by T
3) Fig 2 picture represents not CFD model. The Fig 2 represents just geometry and no more. The picture should represent boundary conditions, with mesh or with some pressure field results or velocity field. One gets the feeling that the authors did not really solve the CFD task.

4) Figure one should be made more clear. At first, the full geometry of research object should be put to the paper. Then it should be clear what specific part they are working on.

The manuscript refers to optimization design of actuator parameters with stepless capacity control system considering the effect of backflow clearance. The title and summary are appropriate, the authors provided a good literature review, and selected keywords accordingly.
In my opinion, the manuscript is at a good scientific level. I didn't find any objective errors.
I have some notes on the edit page:
Abstract- the abbreviation NSGA-II should be explained or included in keywords.
Equations (1), (5), lines 146, 147, 151 - the font is too large.
Units in equations (12), (13), (14) should be for pressure in kPa and for temperature in K.
Line 212 - the label of the table should be in capital letters.
Table 1 - pressure units should be in kPa.
Line 226 - why do you call m0 valve quality?
Table 3 and Figure 3 - the pressure unit should be in MPa.
Figure 3 - what do the yellow points mean?
Line 257 - pressure unit should be in MPa.
Figure 5 - the pressure unit should be in Pa.
Table 4 - the pressure unit should be in Pa.
Figure 7 - pressure unit should be in Pa.
Figure 7 - Wrong legend font.
Equation (21) - how was this equation determined, how were the parameters of the equation determined?
Lines 322, 323 - the font is too large.
Equations (22), (27) - the font is too large.
