Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Comment 1: There are some typographical errors in the manuscript text, so the authors need to correct them in the revised manuscript. In the whole manuscript, the authors must be taken care of the superscripts and subscripts, and abbreviations.

Comment 2: Abstract ispoorly written, it needs to be revised.

Comment 3:The authors need to add and discuss some more recent literature in the introduction section to strengthen the background of their work.

Comment 4:The homogeneity of the manuscript text font needs to be maintained according to the journal guidelines.

Comment 5:Figure 2 needs to be replaced with High-resolution figure.

Comment 6:The authors should explore and discuss the section 3.1Biosorption process performanceresultswith some more references to prepare a better discussion.

Comment 7: The Conclusions Section needs to be revised.

Comment 8:The homogeneity of the reference section needs to be maintained. Please check and revise accordingly to the journal's instructions.

Reviewer 2 Report

Authors should delete space between the Celsius degree symbol and value according to SI units (ex. line 104)

Why did the authors use pH equal to 3 during the biosorption process?

Is there any possibility that the dye was de-coloured rather than adsorbed on the surface?

In the introduction, section author writes that temperature is one of the most critical values influencing biosorption properties. I think thermodynamics should be also investigated.

Authors should add SEM-EDS and FTIR analysis of biosorbents before and after the biosorption process showing the differences between processes

Does the dye influence viability of used cells?

Please add citation of different immobilized yeast cells for sorption processes ex: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.colsurfa.2021.127735
