Galleria mellonella as a novel in vivo model to screen natural product-derived modulators of innate immunity.

This manuscript explained the application of Galleria mellonella as in vivo model to screen natural products. This is an interesting topic to discuss in replacing the conventional in vivo study. This is my comment for this review:

1.       Please read again carefully the manuscript.

2.       Latin words – please Italic.

3.       Keywords – Too much and please include 5 important keywords.

4.       Please add a reference source.

5.       Please use the correct font.

6.       Compare the advantage and disadvantages of Galleria mellonella as a novel in vivo model with other models. Show in table form.

7.       Page 4, line 153 – Abbreviation ROS should be Reactive Oxygen Species.  

8.       Page 12, Title Table 1 need to put above the table. Please make a proper table.

9.  Double-check the references. Some of the citations are not complete eg. volume, issue, or page.

10.   Some of the references is outdated!

 

11.   Please follow the format for this journal.

I believe the manuscript (MS) has been significantly improved. E.g.,

- The abstract has been re-balanced.

- The main purpose of the MS has been declared at the end of the Introduction section.

- The sections have been numbered consecutively.

- A new section 7 entitled "Available techniques to evaluate natural product-derived immunomodulators in Galleria mellonella insect model of innate immunity".

- A section "Concluding Remarks" has been modified.

- All the other proposed corrections have been introduced in the revised MS in the appropriate form.
