The manuscript entitled ‘Red Sea Salinity and Turbidity Effects on Underwater Li-Fi Technology’ is in line with the Applied Sciences journal. It is based on original research. The topic undertaken by the author is important from a practical point of view, interesting, and up-to-date. The article is quite well planned, but the article requires major changes in the content before publication, including:

1) Abstract: Unit in line 22 should be corrected.

2) Introduction: In lines 88-92, references number [9] and [12] are wrong; please correct. Moreover, please apply reference directly behind the author(s) name.

3) Introduction: The literature gap should be clarify and the novelty aspects presented in the article should be described.

3) Figure 1: please remove; it is not necessary for this article.

4) Figure 3: It requires more detailed description; add a description how system works and characterize particular elements.

5) Figure 4: It requires a more detailed description; the figure requires a legend.

6) Discussion: lack of discussion part with comparison obtained result with up-to-date literature.

7) References: This part required to be formatted according to editorial template.
