Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

It would be interesting if the authors report the trade-off compared to other methods especially the computational complexity of the models. Some techniques require more memory space and take longer time, please elaborate on that.

What are the key issues present study has addressed?

There are several interesting papers that look into edge computing and optimization. For instance, the below papers has some interesting implications that you could discuss in your Introduction and how it relates to your work.

K. K. Sahoo, et al. , "TLEFuzzyNet: Fuzzy Rank-Based Ensemble of Transfer Learning Models for Emotion Recognition From Human Speeches," in IEEE Access, vol. 9, pp. 166518-166530, 2021, doi: 10.1109/ACCESS.2021.3135658.

Ali, Farman, et al. "A fuzzy ontology and SVM–based Web content classification system." IEEE Access 5 (2017): 25781-25797.

What are the practical implications of Fast Format-Aware Fuzzing? Any specific areas? Where it can be implemented?

Lines 60 onwards, authors explain the contributions of the study. Kindly elaborate this part in more detail.

Why FFAFuzz outperformed WEIZZ and REDQUEEN?

In future, how authors plan to handle the limitations of the current work? What techniques or methods can be used?

Reviewer 2 Report

This is an interesting manuscript. All concepts are clear and sound.

My Comments and Suggestions to Authors:

1. An introduction should clearly highlight the motivation, problem statement, the objective of the paper, gap in the existing research and the novelty of the conducted research.

2. Compute time complexity of Algorithm 1, Algorithm 2 and Algorithm 3.

3. I suggest extending the conclusions section to focus on the results you get, the method you propose, and their significance.

4. Give more experimentation comparison with relevant approaches/ algorithms.

5.  Expand literature review by citing related work:
