Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Authors presented an experimental research on rock strength. I feel that their research is capable of interest by readers of the journal. They made a well organized discipline in their presentation and method of resting. The whole concept lead me to this conclusion that this study can be accepted as the current form. Consequently I recommend the publication of the manuscript as it is.

Author Response

We would like to thank the reviewer for their review of "Research on rock strength test based on electro-hydraulic servo point load instrument". Thank you for your recognition. We proofread the data of the manuscript again to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data. Thank you again for your warm work. Thank you!

Reviewer 2 Report

Congratulations to authors for the design of this point load test device. Findings are very interesting, the paper is well structured and the date well explained. Only some minors revisions have been found in the text:

- Line 158: The description of the rock corresponds to the coarse-crystalline granite.

- Line 160: Granite description should correspond to the fine-crystalline granite.

- Table 3: Units of the damage values are missing in the text or in figure caption.

- Line 237: Missing capital letter after the period.

Author Response

First of all, we would like to thank the reviewer for their review of " Research on rock strength test based on electro-hydraulic servo point load instrument". Those comments are all valuable and very helpful for revising and improving our manuscript. We have carefully studied the comments of our reviewer and made corrections, which we hope meet with approval. The main corrections in the manuscript and the responds to your comments are as flowing:

Line 158: The description of the rock corresponds to the coarse-crystalline granite.

Response: Many thanks to the reviewer for pointing out this error, which we have corrected.

Line 160: Granite description should correspond to the fine-crystalline granite.

Response: Thanks to the reviewer for pointing out this error, we have revised this part of the error.

Table 3: Units of the damage values are missing in the text or in figure caption.

Response: We have corrected the parts that are not marked with units.

Line 237: Missing capital letter after the period.

Response: We are very sorry for the English formatting error here and have corrected it.
