Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The physics and mathematics seem to be Ok, no comment from me.

But the main question, "How are people disturbed by the neighbour above walking on the floor" is not mentioned directly. This part of the research is only briefly mentioned in the very last paragraph. It would only take a paragraph to point to future research regarding compliance with regulations and a better acoustic privacy.

Reviewer 2 Report

The paper presents in interesting subject treating a vibroacoustic problem by a simulation using a theoritical modeling.

The paper is well presented and it has a good scientific impact for researchers.

So, I recommend the publication of the paper in its present form.

Reviewer 3 Report

This study used a finite element model to determine the correlation between vibration and acoustic modes to estimate the sound pressure of the acoustic space containing a building, considering the structural vibration.

1-Abstract should be more understandable.

2-Farmüller should be reviewed again. There are errors in the representation of the symbols in the formulas in the text. The writing of the symbols must be of the same type as the text. (For example, alpha, and beta symbols were added to the text as images)

3- Tables should be reviewed both in terms of content and form.

4-Figure descriptions should be reviewed, they are not sufficient.

Round 2

Reviewer 3 Report

1- What do the values written in bold in Table 3 mean?

2-Explanations about figures are not included in the text, it is recommended to do so.

Author Response

I really appreciate your detailed reviews. I try to do my best for reflecting your opinions. Thank you for this reviews, again.
