This manuscript tries to review the sustainable food waste management and cutting edge technology. However, it is not well-written. The work seems to only summarize related work without putting an insightful perspective. The figure presentation is weak to show typical examples. Besides, there are several similar published reviews, and the authors need to make a distinction.
1 Lack of information on other sustainable food waste technologies. The review covers only the anaerobic digestion, Omics, Arifical intelligence.
2 Figure 3: Lack of the detailed information and relevant references.
3 Figure 4 is too simple.
4 Section 5.2 The Omics and Bioengineering disciplines: the authors only give some simple examples. But the important fields and typical examples are missing.
5 Section 5.3 Artificial intelligence and machine learning: the current limitation, and future development are missing.
In general, the review is written very illegibly and needs thorough revision.

At the beginning of the 'Introduction' section in the first paragraph the citation is required (see attached file).
In the entire manuscript
In the text, reference numbers should be placed in square brackets [ ], and placed before the punctuation; for example [1], [1–3] or [1,3]

Cellulosomes and loposomes are not hidrolytic enzymes.
Cellulosomes are multienzyme complexes, which are made up of hydrolytic enzymes.
Liposomes are nano-sized to microsized vesicles comprising a phospholipid bilayer that surrounds an aqueous core. Could you explain how liposomes participate as hydrolytic enzymes?

In 'Cellulolytic and xylanolytic microorganisms generate xylanases that degrade complex cellulose and xylose into glucose and xylem.' Must be 'Cellulolytic and xylanolytic microorganisms generate xylanases that degrade complex cellulose and xylan into glucose and xylose.'
Xylanases degrade xylan, not xylose.
Xylan degradation produce 'xylose'.
'Xylem' is one of the two types of transport tissue in vascular plants, the other being phloem.

Add the meaning of KEGG.
