KEYWORDS

- There are too many keywords. Please select only 3-6 of them.

INTRODUCTION

- Please provide the full forms of EGR, TWC, and SCR.

- This section should include a research question after analysing the previous literature. Why this study is needed? Which gap does it fill? What is the novelty of the study?

MATERIALS AND METHODS

- Please provide the full forms of COPERT, IPCC, EMEP etc.

- Please provide more information on COPERT software.

- The authors should provide much more information about the inventory. As it is, it seems impossible to repeat the study.

RESULTS

- Too many figures, which makes the paper difficult to follow, and too few explanations. Please simplify the figures and add more comments.

- The authors should discuss the results with previous studies' results.

- The results seem to be the direct output from COPERT software. The analysis of the results is incomplete in the article. The results that the software gives directly without any simulation or system installation are already in the software and cannot be accepted as a result. If a system has been installed, it must be specified in the materials and methods section. Please remember that a paper without a good organized and well-presented Materials and Methods section is very difficult to understand and evaluate.

DISCUSSION

- This section should be reorganized as Conclusions.

Prediction of pollutant emissions in various cases in the Road Transport

Manuscript Number:- applsci-2044954

Recommendation: - Minor Revision

In this study, this research aimed to Carbon dioxide and other air pollutants are primarily sourced from the road transportation industry. To evaluate the sector's contribution to the overall national emissions budget, mathematical modelling is typically used (inventory). The article focuses on examining how different types of fuel (LPG, CNG, gasoline, diesel, and biofuel), the Euro standard, and the design of vehicles affect emissions of CO2, NOX, and PM2.5. The findings of mathematical simulations of the impact of fuel type and Euro regulations on the emissions of pollutants are presented in the study. Two scenarios were taken into consideration: modifying the fleet and introducing Euro 6/VI vehicles and the second scenario centred on establishing low pollution zones to cities (only Euro 6 and PHEV, HEV, and BEV entering the city as the effect on the CO2. The results listed in the paper in the form of figures, and analysis are seeming true and correct. The paper is well written, and it is written in a truly sporty manner. English is generally good; I think it needs to be polished further and some typos need to be revised. Further punctuation marks should be checking through the paper, especially after the few sentences and at the end of the statements.

* Remark, comments, and questions:

1.      Introduction of paper should be improved. The gap between earlier study and this work should be properly addressed.

2.      These manuscripts consist of few references or limited references only. Author are advised to add more  references and use recent papers

3.      Justification and format of the paper is missing, and the introduction is not so significant, it may be increase with proper content, I will provide you some references for your use. With the help of that you may improve your paper.

4.      Rephrase the following

Simulations were also conducted to investigate the impact of converting the entire fleet on the CO2, NOX, and PM2.5 emissions. In the first scenario, a situation was examined where all vehicles in Poland with the standard from Pre-Euro to Euro 5 are converted to Euro 6. After meeting the fuel balance requirements (the same amount of fuel was used in both cases), the impact on emissions was checked. The results of the simulation are shown below in figures 18 – 20

5.      Authors should correct grammatical error at few stage of paper.

6.      Authors should improve the conclusion of whole work.

7.      References should be written as journal and similar format and improve quality of figure.

8.      Update volume, page number in incomplete references.

9.      References are not appropriate. Authors should add the following paper in reference list for better representation of paper

Emission reduction of black carbon and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons during COVID-19 pandemic lockdown, Air Quality, Atmosphere & Health 14 (7), 1081-1095, COVID-19 lockdowns reduce the Black carbon and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons of the Asian atmosphere: source apportionment and health hazard evaluation, Environment, Development and Sustainability,  23 (8), 12252-12271, Source apportionment and health risks assessment of black carbon aerosols in an urban atmosphere in East India, Journal of Atmospheric Chemistry 78 (3), 177-191, Characterization, seasonal variation, source apportionment and health risk assessment of black carbon over an urban region of East India, Urban Climate 38, 100896, Accumulation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in surface sediment residues of Mahanadi River Estuary: Abundance, source, and risk assessment, Marine Pollution Bulletin 183, 114073, Toxicity and health risk assessment of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in surface water, sediments and groundwater vulnerability in Damodar River Basin, Groundwater for Sustainable Development 13, 100553, Health risk assessment, composition, and distribution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in drinking water of Southern Jharkhand, East India, Archives of environmental contamination and toxicology 80 (1), 120-133, Source identification and health risk assessment of atmospheric PM2. 5-bound polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in Jamshedpur, India, Sustainable cities and society 52, 101801

Conclusion: Authors should improve the work according comments. After above Minor revisions, I strongly recommended this paper for publication without any kind of hesitation in your journal.
