Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Thank you for your invitation to review your paper.  This paper is a review paper of  Integrated  Motor Pump-Jet Propulsion.  I recommend few things to improve your manuscript.

  • I recommend to rearrange and re produce your figures and table to be fixed in Journal format.  They are to poor quality, font, irregular format and sizes.
  • Please follow the journal format for reference.
  • I recommend to describe the principle of Motor Pump-Jet Propulsionby your produced figure, after then you can review.  Review  paper is not just listing of literature.
  • Please re-order reference citation in your manuscript with correcting reference format.
  • As I mentioned, review paper is not just a copy and paste.  I could not find exactly your understanding with this review.  You tried to list again in the conculsion.  Please summarize your understanding in conclusion. The conclusion is too long and not summarized.

Reviewer 2 Report

In the paper theoretical and experimental research on the design, performance analysis, and control of IMP is discussed, covering electric motors, bearing structure, hydrodynamic design, and hydrodynamic, electromagnetic, and bearing coupling design technology. Presented research investigates the most recent research goals, progress, and applications of IMP’s hydrodynamic design, which includes hydrodynamic performance, cavitation, and gap flow. Also, the future essential technologies of high power and low vibration, water-lubricated bearings, coupling design, electromagnetic and bearing, and IMP’s anti-fouling and anti-damage capacity are summarized.

In the article, the signatures of figures and tables should be standardized. In my opinion, the signatures have different font sizes. Figure 5 should also be better signed. There is no information what is c and d in this figure. In addition, the table presentation should be standardized.

In some part of presented tables, the information provided in column "Findings" is not fully readable through the truncated text.

After introducing editorial corrections, improving the readability of the article I recommend it for publication.

Round 2

Reviewer 1 Report

  • Still, I want to recommend important thing. Major thing to be updated is the definition or description of pump jet or what you want to claim. You just copied and pasted from the start of your paper.
  • Please find any method improving figure quality.
