My comments are listed as follows.

(1) For Fig.5, the information is unclear. I suggest that authors can add the model application for all methods. Perhaps, this figure can be replaced with a table for including more information.

(2)Please list more challenges for this review work at the aspect of application levels.

(3) Some important figures for principle should be given.

(4) Figure 1 is better changed to a histogram of annual distribution. It's easy to see the trend.
