Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The paper's objective is to demonstrate the influence of the non-deterministic moving loads and asphalt temperature on pavement performance prediction.

The paper describes a research study and presents innovation in pavement design.

The paper presents scientific merit and interest for readers.

Congratulations to the authors because the paper is well-written and with quality presentation.
I only recommend two suggestions to the authors:

1 - What is the justification for the highest values of the modulus of the pavement layers (Table 1? The pavement structure is globally very rigid. Any reason for this option to demonstrate the study's objective?

2 - It is recommended to present some of the most study's significant findings in the conclusions. The conclusions are too general, with the main focus on the objective and advantages of the proposed methodology.

Reviewer 2 Report

Good article overall requiring some modifications.

Brief descritption of more results in the abstract so that the reader could get the overall picture of the manuscript just from reading the abstract

Research gap is not very well highlighted

In the result discussion section, you can benefit from comparing your findings to previous results found in recent literature
