Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

Dear Authors,

You have chosen an exciting topic and made a reasonable effort to contribute. However, it seems more focus has been given to the introduction and methodology part. A balance can be achieved by adding results and a discussion part in the article. I have a few suggestions to enhance the quality of the work:

1- Simplify the abstract and add the methodology part briefly.

2- Reference numbering is not in order. For example, the first reference number that appears in the text is [22].

3- Figure 2 shows yearly GWL fluctuations. It would be a good idea to show years on the x-axis.

4- About 70% of the article consists of the Introduction, background, and methodology sections. I would strongly recommend adding "Results and Discussion" section of moderate length. The Introduction and Background sections can be shortened if required.

5- The Conclusion section should be expanded and improved.

6- The article should be checked for English language and grammatical mistakes.

Good luck.

Regards,

Reviewer 2 Report

1. Justify how reduced information system checked with the VIF values(Table 3).

2.  Whether the proposed model is optimal only for  Indian groundwater sustainability development?

3.  In the conclusion, line 430 highlights, the GWL has been drastically reduced, leading to a critical situation in some states of India in near future. Some states not mention.

4. In the conclusion, How far Deep Ensemble learning is adopted and it advantages not mentioned.

5. Table 12 shows rainfall pattern 2015-2022. but figure 1 show Statewise groundwater level fluctuation (2010-2020). What is the reason not added last two years. ie 2021 and 2022.
