Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

1- It would be helpful to include a more detailed discussion of the specific types of video monitoring applications that the proposed system is intended to support, as different applications may have varying requirements in terms of energy availability and computational complexity.

2- In order to make the paper more accessible to readers who may not be familiar with Lyapunov optimization techniques, it may be useful to provide a brief overview of the mathematical principles involved and their application in this context.

3- The authors should provide a more thorough explanation of the simulation methodology used, including details on the specific simulation parameters and metrics used to evaluate system performance.

4- It would be beneficial to include a comparison of the proposed algorithm with existing approaches for resource scheduling and computation offloading in solar-powered MEC systems, in order to demonstrate the novelty and effectiveness of the proposed method.

5- In order to provide a more comprehensive analysis of the proposed system, the authors may consider discussing potential limitations and areas for future research, such as scalability to larger network sizes and integration with other renewable energy sources.

6- There are not enough citations in the introduction section. Using the 5 key references in the introduction section, discuss a few sentences about the paper's topic and new state-of-the-art subjects.

The article is devoted to the actual problem of optimization of solar energy conversion.
The title of the article corresponds to the outlined task.
However, there are a few remarks:
1) it is worth more clearly justifying the use of an approach based on the Lyapunov method (since there are other methods and approaches): for example, the chosen method has higher accuracy or relative simplicity of calculations, etc.
2) describe specifically what was done before this research, and what was done by the authors (further developed, improved, obtained for the first time, etc.).
3) add further steps (improvement) of this study (if possible).
Also, points 23 and 24 in the literature should be replaced with more modern ones.
In general, I recommend the article for publication after correcting the above observations.
