Comments and Suggestions for Authors

The work deals with the topical issue of the full use of natural resources and the explanation of complex physical problems. Unfortunately, I do not see any connection between the results of this study and the previously defined practice. Here is a pure computer modeling experiment using the principle of random numbers. Unanswered questions remain:

1. what would happen if the particle had different diameters?

2. How the calculation results are affected by different forms of arrangement (Fig. 3)

3. How does the size of the gaps between particles smaller than R affect the arrangement?

4. was particle weight taken into account in the modeling and how would this affect the results?

5. How to understand this line in the conclusions "According to the actual situation, continuous adjustments are made to achieve computer simulation of proppant particles." (p. 370)

Minor inaccuracies and notes:

1. Explain what  Ï´ is.

2. Specify Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 the mutual compliance of each variant

3. In Fig. 4, use the designations of axes x, y, and z. Specify the particle sizes with which to model.

4. Check the language (120. 197 etc.)

An interesting approach to modelling proppant particles, taking into account their various physical properties and combining them within a unified approach that is suitable for deriving simulations. The paper is interesting to read, not only by those that are experts in the particular domains in which proppant particles are important, but also to researchers in other fields of physics and mathematical modelling. The paper is well-written and can be published as it.

The article addresses the computer 3D simulation of proppant particles. The introduction is sufficient to provide a basis for understanding the subject and offers a clear objective. The physical modeling of the problem is adequate for the proposed study. Mathematical modeling adequately describes the physical problem. The computational modeling was developed satisfactorily. The figures provide good visualization. The results are consistent with the physics of the problem and with other results in the literature. Conclusions are anchored in the quality of the results. The research was well conducted and I recommend the work for publication.
