Round 1
Reviewer 1 Report
The results of the submitted article have theoretical and practical value, and they will contribute to extending knowledge of seed filling features and help enhance seeding performance. The article is comprehensive, nicely illustrated, and detail described. I have only a few remarks:

Page 13, please, compare the results of the field experiment with the literature, add more discussion;
Please include Newton’s force and momentum equations in the material and methods section;
More details regarding the DEM model should be presented;
Include additional equations to describe the force field regarding parameters used in the DEM simulation, shown in Table 1, or at least add the appropriate references.
The results should be validated, like r2, χ2, RSME, etc., and/or residual analysis to test the model and experimental results.
Please, check the English in the entire article.

Reviewer comment on Seeding performance caused by inclination angle in a centralized seed metering device for rapeseed
The paper is well written and is focused on Seeding performance caused by inclination angle in a centralized seed metering device for rapeseed. The results contributed to improving knowledge of seed filling characteristics of the centralized seed-metering device at inclination condition and should help improve seeding performance by adjusting seed layer height and installing seed cleaning brush. However here are my comments and suggestion that can help improve the quality of the manuscript:
- I suggest that the image quality of the figures should be improved upon
- Table 3 and 6 should be well positioned on top of the table on the new page where it appeared
- Subsection 2.3.2 should start from a new page, same for subsection 2.4/2.4.1
- Check the paragraph on line 167, very close to Table 2, same for line 172, close to equation 1
- Labelling of Figure 9 should be well positioned.
- Your manuscript has scanty cited references. I suggested you cite more references to support your discussions.
