Reviewer 3 Report

This study is about the carotenoids, their potential health effects particularly the significance in skin health.

I find the topic interesting since there are few studies that focus on the effects of carotenoids on skin health.

However, I have some minor comments:

I think the abstract section should be improved. I find it weak, and the impact of the study should be emphasized better.

I also strongly recommend the authors to insert more recent literature including 2022 and 2023 years. Please add updated references, additionally.

There is something wrong with the discussion part. Please check it.

As a general recommendation, I think that the subheadings of this MS is enough however, they do not meet the required information. For this reason, I suggest them to improve each section by inserting and discussing literature. studies.
