The article is well prepared in terms of editing, but it requires a number of necessary corrections.

Comments are listed below.

  1. The abstract should contain basic information about the research topic and a general presentation of the obtained results. The description of the content of the individual parts of the work should be at the end of the introduction.
  2. The introduction must be supplemented with an indication of the reason for undertaking research in the sense of identifying gaps, based on literature research, in the works to date.
  3. It is not clear where "power part" is on figure 2 (line 113), there is only information that its schematic is on figure 3. Information which block(s) are treatwd as "power part" should be added.
  4. Line 142: "Maximal input voltage" - better is "Maximum input voltage"; the same about other voltages and currents. And what about minimums, do they can be zero?
  5. The authors do not indicate what is the uniqueness of the presented solutions. Showing a properly built generator is an example of an engineering activity, not a scientific one. It is necessary to compare the obtained waveforms with other (typical / commercial) solutions to show how the weaknesses of those have been corrected.

Paper should be rewrited and resubmited for another revision.

In order to improve the quality of the present manuscript, the following remarks should be addressed:

  1. First of all, the presentation of this paper is very poor as it is really hard to follow each section.
  2. Abstract of this paper needs to improve in view of existing problems and its solution adopting by new methodology.
  3. The contribution of this paper is not clear i.e., what is the main contribution of the paper compared to the existing literature.
  4. Please cite more recent papers to make a fair literature review.
  5. Which platform is used to do the experiment is not clear at all.
  6. How did the authors select or get their experimental parameters values are not clear in the paper.
  7. Finally, there are lots of grammatical errors and typos. Please thoroughly check the paper to correct all of these errors.

Point 1. The authors’ contribution is not clear, and the results are not discussed in comparison to other relevant works. Different approaches are discussed, but they are common ones. Emphasize the novelty of your work.

Point 2. The results section must include more detail data about the experimental setup. In addition, this section must mention more discussion of the main obtained results. Which are the limitations or challenges of the proposed research?

Point 3: Conclusion section must be improved based on the above comments.

Point 4. This manuscript should include and discuss more recent references between 2016 and 2021.

The title of the paper should be more extensive. Please pulse transformer in the title. Also, add Broad Review because a significant part is dedicated to the review.

Please add simulation results and compare them with experimental results.

The design part is weak. Please add an extensive design method including a flow chart and show how the values in the HV generator with pulse transformer are calculated. Also, please add a final table showing all the designed values.

All the equations (1) through (10) are fundamental equations of transformers and the reviewer cannot find what is the novelty in the design process.

What is the purpose of Figure 12? What is the purpose of showing the front panel of the HV generator?

Please label each part of figure 13.

The results are not fully explained and concluded, especially using them to prove the contributions of the paper are missing. Please elaborate them to validate the contributions.

Also, the results are too less. Please impact of load and frequency change on the generator.
