Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors describe a quad-mode BPF using semicircular patch resonator with a variable diameter central ground post and radial slots for mode-shifting. The methodology is clear, and the conclusions supported by measurements that are in good agreement with theory.

My only suggestion is that the name and supplier of the substrate material should be included in the description of the filter (if it was given, I must have missed it). The permittivity and loss tangent are given, but the material itself could also be named for the convenience of other researches hoping to duplicate the results.

Reviewer 2 Report

In this study, a Quad-mode band-pass filter design was carried out. The designed resonator is in the structure of circularly placed vias on the circular patch with short-circuited. The design stages are presented step by step in an understandable way. It is seen that the results obtained are compared with similar studies. It can be seen that a table is presented for comparison and a smaller size resonator is obtained from studies with close operating frequency. It can be seen that a table is presented for comparison and a smaller size resonator is obtained from studies with close operating frequency. The only missing in the article is that it is not stated which software the simulations were carried out. In my opinion, it would be appropriate to correct this deficiency.
