Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The manuscript Development and biomechanics of Grewia lasiocarpa E. Mey. ex Harv. trichomes exudate. The article presents very interesting results. The figures are presented very clearly. I suggest authors to expand as much as possible the percentage of most current references. I did not detect plagiarism, but I did not submit it to the specific program.

Reviewer 2 Report

The article "Development and biomechanics of Grewia lasiocarpa E. Mey. 2

ex Harv. trichomes exudate " is well written, addresses an interesting and unprecedented topic. The introduction has current bibliographical references on the subject and is well structured.

The methodologies and the experimental design are the most adequate to achieve the proposed objectives. The results are well presented and discussed and the conclusions, due to the excess of the parts of DNA and genetics established in the data obtained by microscopic observations. For all this we are in favor of its publication in Plants.
