Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

In the present review, the authors have compiled and discussed the studies related to “copper tolerance, accumulation and detoxification in Ulva compressa” in a very organized way. The review will help as well as guide the future researchers working in this field.  I am having very few comments/suggestions regarding the manuscript.

1. In the abstract remove minor facts and highlight major developments to avoid redundancy among the abstract and the conclusion section. My suggestion is to concise the abstract section of the review.

2. keywords such as accumulation, tolerance and plants seems not appropriate. either you can remove or replace them with more appropriate words.

3.The first three paragraphs of the main text can be considered as an introduction and the first sub heading can start from fourth paragraph
