The Pigs section of the journal Animals is dedicated to the in-depth study of a diverse range of research areas involving pigs, otherwise known as swine. This specialized section provides a crucial platform for researchers to share their discoveries and advancements in the area of pig biology.
Embracing a multidisciplinary approach, the Pigs section invites submissions that explore various aspects of pig biology, including nutrition, physiology, endocrinology, behavior, genetics, embryology, and the utilization of assisted reproductive technologies in pigs.
Original research articles, reviews, and methodological papers are welcomed, with the goal of expanding the knowledge base and fostering progress in pig research.
