Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

In 2022, the first volume of the Special Issue titled "Rational Use of Antibiotics in Bloodstream Infection" was published. The successful issue with six excellent papers has encouraged the publication of a second volume on the same topic. In continuation of the Special Issue published in 2022, this second volume examines rational antibiotic use in bloodstream infections, especially in critical care patients, antibiotic resistance and multiple-drug-resistant bacteria-related bloodstream infections. Antibiotic stewardship, education, new techniques or artificial intelligence to reduce the duration of bacteremia, new classes of antibiotics or antibiotic regimens to treat multiple-drug-resistant bacteria-related bloodstream infections are all encouraged.
