Speech and Language
Section Information
This section covers the auditory and cognitive foundations of speech perception, language development, and communication in both normal-hearing and hearing-impaired populations. It welcomes contributions on language acquisition, auditory–verbal therapy, speech-in-noise perception, the neurocognitive processing of language, and the impact of hearing disorders on communication. Multidisciplinary works on the intersections of audiology, linguistics, neuroscience, and speech-language pathology are especially encouraged to foster the creation of comprehensive approaches for improving speech and language outcomes in clinical practice.
