Behavioural Biology
A section of Biology (ISSN 2079-7737).
Section Information
The Behavioural Biology section of Biology explores the biological foundations of behaviour in both animals and humans. This section emphasizes the understanding of how genetic, neurobiological, and environmental factors interact to help shape behaviour. The key topics include behavioural ecology, neuroethology, behavioural genetics, chronobiology, cognitive processes, and social behaviour.
We encourage submissions that integrate experimental, computational, and observational approaches to behavioural studies. We particularly welcome research on the mechanisms underlying behaviour, adaptive significance, and evolutionary development. The section aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration among researchers working in neurobiology, anthropology, and other related fields.
