Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The primary objective of the Special Issue "Recent Advances in Assessment and Rehabilitation of Communication and Language Disorders: Enhancing Innovations, Neuromodulation and AI" is to offer a platform for disseminating cutting-edge clinical techniques and research in communication and language disorders.

The focus of this Brain Sciences Special Issue is on the most recent innovations and improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of people with a range of communication and language difficulties, including children and adults.

Specifically, this Special Issue aims to advance the assessment and rehabilitation of communication and language disorders by highlighting both foundational and emerging methodologies. The Special Issue welcomes studies that explore novel diagnostic tools, including AI-driven speech and language analysis, neuroimaging techniques, and standardized assessment protocols designed to improve the early detection and classification of disorders. Possible submissions may also focus on innovative rehabilitation approaches, such as neuromodulation-based interventions, technology-assisted speech therapy, and AI-driven personalized treatment programmes that adapt to individual patient needs. Additionally, research on traditional and integrative therapeutic strategies, the role of interdisciplinary collaboration in intervention planning, and the development of new clinical frameworks for optimizing rehabilitation outcomes is also welcome.

This Special Issue seeks contributions that provide insight into the evolving landscape of communication and language disorder management. By showcasing both general and cutting-edge advancements, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of how assessment and intervention strategies can be refined to improve clinical outcomes and patient quality of life. The Special Issue’s goal is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, clinicians, educators, and other professionals in the field of communication and language impairments.
