10th Anniversary
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of Fibers, a peer-reviewed, open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies pertaining to all aspects of fiber research. Fibers published over 600 papers by the end of 2022. We value the contributions from both authors and reviewers. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Fibers, we are preparing dedicated content and a series of events. We hope that you will join us in celebrating this milestone for our journal and enjoy the collection below.

The inaugural Issue was released, and Fibers was published as a quarterly journal.
Founding Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Stephen C. Bondy
Stephen Bondy has been the Professor of Neuroscience at the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health, University of California, Irvine, since 1985. The focus of his research concerns the mechanistic processes underlying the effect of environmental or nutritional agents in altering the rate of brain aging. He obtained an M.A. from Cambridge University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham, UK in 1962. He has held positions at Columbia University, UCLA, University of Colorado, and the National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences where he was Head of the Neurochemistry Section. Dr. Bondy is the author of around 400 articles and reviews.
