Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Osteoarthritis (OA) is one of the most prevalent musculoskeletal disorders, significantly impacting patients’ mobility, quality of life, and overall healthcare burden. Despite advances in treatment strategies, effective disease-modifying therapies remain a challenge, emphasizing the need for further research into the prevention, diagnosis, and innovative treatment approaches. Given the rising prevalence of knee and hip OA, expanding scientific knowledge in this field is of major importance.
We are pleased to invite you to contribute to a Special Issue of Healthcare (ISSN 2227-9032) entitled Clinical Management of Knee and Hip Osteoarthritis, which will focus on the latest advances in knee and hip osteoarthritis research.
This Special Issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research on osteoarthritis, encompassing diagnostic tools, prevention strategies, therapeutic strategies and rehabilitation. The Special Issue will align with the journal’s mission to publish high-quality scientific contributions that advance understanding and clinical management of musculoskeletal disorders.
We welcome original research articles and review papers on topics including, but not limited to:
- Regenerative medicine approaches, including cell and gene therapy;
- Biomechanics and its role in disease progression;
- Non-surgical and surgical treatment strategies;
- Novel therapies;
- The impact of lifestyle, exercise, and nutrition on OA progression;
- Digital technologies in OA management.
We look forward to your valuable contributions to this Special Issue.
