Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
As adults, much of our time is spent in the workplace, making occupational safety and health (OSH) key to our physical and mental wellbeing. Around the world, researchers and practitioners are working every day, often with limited resources, to find solutions to the most common causes of workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities, and improve the lives and livelihoods of workers. To meet this goal, it is imperative that we expand our evaluations of OSH interventions and make strides in the field of dissemination and implementation science to be applied to workplace settings. Without these steps, successful interventions are often left behind, unable to meet their full potential of saving lives and livelihoods. It is our hope that this Special Issue of IJERPH will bring together OSH and Total Worker Health researchers from around the world to learn from one another by sharing new advances in OSH interventions and the knowledge gained from evaluating and implementing these interventions in real workplaces.
