10th Anniversary

The year 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, a peer-reviewed open-access journal on geo-information. It is a journal of the ISPRS (International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) and is published monthly online by MDPI. ISPRS IJGI has published more than 3900 papers from more than 12,000 authors. More than 6000 reviewers have submitted at least one review report. We value the contributions made by the authors and reviewers. To celebrate this 10th anniversary, we are arranging a series of special content and events. Journal History

Founding Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kainz

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kainz is a professor emeritus of cartography and geo-information science at the Department of Geography and Regional Research at the University of Vienna, where he was the head of the research group on cartography and geographic information science for 20 years. He holds a graduate degree in technical mathematics and computer science and a PhD in GIS from the Graz University of Technology, Austria.
