This Special Issue will delve into the intricate world of epigenetic modifications and their profound impacts on cancer development, progression, and treatment. Epigenetics, encompassing DNA methylation, histone modification, and non-coding RNA regulation, plays a pivotal role in the regulation of gene expression without altering the genetic code itself. These modifications can lead to oncogene activation or tumor suppressor gene silencing, contributing to the onset and progression of various cancers.
The Special Issue will bring together cutting-edge research and comprehensive reviews highlighting the latest advancements in our understanding of the epigenetic mechanisms driving cancer.
